Rational solitons of wave resonant-interaction models
Integrable models of resonant interaction of two or more waves in 1+1 dimensions are known to be of applicative interest in several areas. Here we consider a system of three coupled wave equations which includes as special cases the vector nonlinear ...

Soliton solutions of noncommutative anti-self-dual Yang-Mills equations [PDF]
We present exact soliton solutions of anti-self-dual Yang-Mills equations for G = GL(N) on noncommutative Euclidean spaces in four-dimension by using the Darboux transformations.

The Exp-Function Method and n-Soliton Solutions
We generalize the exp-function method recently proposed by He and Wu [Chaos, Solitons and Fractals 30, 700 (2006)]. We apply this generalized method to the Korteweg-de Vries equation and derive the known 2-soliton and 3-soliton solutions. We also discuss the efficiency, as well as the drawbacks of the proposed method.

Broadband Parametric Amplification in AlGaAs‐on‐Insulator Nanowaveguides
Harnessing the exceptional nonlinearity of AlGaAs‐on‐insulator nanowaveguides, four‐wave‐mixing parametric amplification achieves a record net on‐chip gain of 56 dB and a gain bandwidth exceeding 415 nm at telecom wavelengths. These results establish AlGaAsOI as a powerful platform for compact, high‐performance integrated nonlinear optical ...

Solitons in low-dimensional sigma models [PDF]
The aim of this thesis is to study topological soliton solutions in classical field theories, called sigma models, on a three-dimensional space. In chapter 1 we review the general field-theoretical framework of classical soliton solutions and exemplify ...

Soliton Molecules and Full Symmetry Groups to the KdV-Sawada-Kotera-Ramani Equation
By N-soliton solutions and a velocity resonance mechanism, soliton molecules are constructed for the KdV-Sawada-Kotera-Ramani (KSKR) equation, which is used to simulate the resonances of solitons in one-dimensional space.

Frontiers of Bright CEP‐Stable Broadband Infrared Sources
Bright CEP‐stable broadband infrared sources push the limits of ultrafast science by delivering exceptional brightness alongside few‐cycle durations and multi‐octave spectral coverage. This review highlights emerging architectures and nonlinear conversion strategies that scale power while preserving phase stability.

This work demonstrates a high‐fidelity stability transfer from an optical reference to a high‐repetition‐rate microcomb using a mode‐locked laser bridge. By employing electro‐optic sampling timing detection, femtosecond‐level synchronization and 10−18‐level fractional frequency stability are achieved.

Complex sine-Gordon theory: solitons, defects and boundaries [PDF]
This thesis presents research into the properties and features of the complex sine- Gordon theory. The CSG theory is a dimensional integrable held theory that admits soliton solutions which carry a Noether charge due to the U(I) invariance of the theory.

Solitons on a background, rogue waves and classical soliton solutions of Sasa--Satsuma equation [PDF]
We present the most general multi-parameter family of a soliton on a background solutions to the Sasa-Satsuma equation. The solution contains a set of several free parameters that control the background amplitude as well as the soliton itself.
