Water-Triggered Direct Air Capture by Strong Organic Bases. [PDF]

Peralkylated guanidines capture CO₂ directly from moist air and release concentrated CO₂ upon water co‐evaporation with a smalltemperature‐swing of 45 °C. This water‐triggered capture and release mechanism enables a high working capacity of nearly one equivalent CO2 per base, offering a promising approach for direct air capture.
