Ascorbic Acid Modulates Collagen Properties in Glucocorticoid‐Induced Osteoporotic Bone: Insights into Chemical, Mechanical, and Biological Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, Volume 15, Issue 12, 25 March 2026.
Osteoporosis from long‐term glucocorticoid (GIOP) use elevates susceptibility to fracture. This study shows GCs impair ascorbic acid (AA) metabolism in osteoblasts, collagen synthesis and extracellular matrix integrity. AA enhanced collagen biochemical and mechanical properties and restored osteoblast and endothelial function. These findings underscore

A Novel Area Efficient and High‐Speed BCD Adder Using CFA and Multiplexer in Quantum‐Dot Cellular Automata

open access: yesIEEJ Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Volume 21, Issue 2, Page 226-234, February 2026.
This paper proposes a new enhanced Single Digit BCD Adder (SDBA) to perform decimal addition optimally. Quantum‐dot Cellular Automata (QCA) will construct nanostructured arithmetic circuits for future computing. One of the vital structures in arithmetic structures is the Binary Coded Decimal (BCD)/Decimal Adder. The existing Decimal Adders require many

Assessing Habitat Suitability and Range Dynamics of Syzygium alternifolium (Wight) Walp Under Future Climatic Scenarios

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 1, January 2026.
We modeled the current and future habitat suitability of the endangered tree species Syzygium alternifolium using MaxEnt under two climate scenarios (SSP245 and SSP585) for 2050 and 2070. The model showed high accuracy (AUC = 0.93), with significant future range expansion projected outside protected areas, highlighting urgent conservation gaps.

New Diterpenes From the Soft Coral Xenia macrospiculata, Evaluation of Their Activity Against Fruit Pathogenic Fungi, and In Silico Study of Toxicity to Humans

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
The ethyl acetate solvent extract of the soft coral Xenia macrospiculata, collected from the Red Sea coast of Eritrea, has been investigated for novel bioactive compounds against the two most prevalent postharvest fungal pathogens, Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus flavus, which damage the fruits and cause significant yield losses and quality ...

FUZZY NEUTROSOPHIC PRIME IDEALS OF BCK-ALGEBRAS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebraic Systems
In this research paper, we introduce and analyze the notion of fuzzy neutrosophic prime ideals (FNPIs) in a commutative BCK-algebra $\mathcal{K}$. It represents a further extension of prime ideals in the context of fuzzy neutrosophic sets.

Kumaraswamy Modified Kies Power Lomax Distribution: Properties, Actuarial Measures, and Applications

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 7, Issue 9, September 2025.
In this paper, we introduce a novel five‐parameter probability model integrating the features of the Kumaraswamy Modified Kies‐G family and the power Lomax distribution, offering improved flexibility in modeling real‐world data. The proposed model is named the Kumaraswamy Modified Kies power Lomax distribution, which captures a wide range of shapes ...

Understanding the metabolic perturbations in Carica papaya Linn. due to different ripening practices/agents using gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry based metabolomics

open access: yesAnalytical Science Advances, 2020
The study of fruit‐ripening mechanism is vital as it plays a key role in the maintenance of fruit quality. Use of various xenobiotics for quick ripening has been shown to impact the quality of fruit, which in turn affect human health.

Dihydropyrimidinone Based Chromones as New α‐Glucosidase Inhibitors

open access: yesChemistrySelect, Volume 10, Issue 21, June 4, 2025.
1‐(2,4‐Dihydroxyphenyl)ethanone functions as a fundamental precursor in the synthesis of dihydropyrimidinone conjugates that incorporate both chromone and triazole moieties. Docking analyses are performed on 15 synthetic compounds. In silico investigations confirm high binding affinity, with docking energies of −10.7 kcal/mol for compound 5a and −10.9 ...

Nagarjuna y la dialéctica del origen condicionado

open access: yesPensamiento.
