Solvability of a boundary value problem with a Nagumo Condition [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to discuss the existence and localization of solutions for a generalized Emden-Fowler equation involving a conformable derivative and with a Dirichlet boundary condition.

Boundary value problems for strongly nonlinear equations under a Wintner-Nagumo growth condition [PDF]
We study the following strongly nonlinear differential equation: ( a ( t , x ( t ) ) Φ ( x ′ ( t ) ) ) ′ = f ( t , x ( t ) , x ′ ( t ) ) , a.e. in [ 0 , T ] $$\bigl(a \bigl(t,x(t) \bigr)\Phi\bigl(x'(t) \bigr) \bigr)'= f \bigl(t,x(t),x'(t) \bigr), \quad ...

In this paper, we consider the following $(n+1)$st order bvp on the half line with a $\phi-$Laplacian operator $$ \begin{cases} (\phi(u^{(n)}))'(t)=f(t,u(t),\ldots,u^{(n)}(t)),& a.e., \,t\in [ 0,+\infty ),\\& n\in \mathbb{N}\setminus\{0\}, \\ u^

Periodic Third-Order Problems with a Parameter
This work concerns with the solvability of third-order periodic fully problems with a weighted parameter, where the nonlinearity must verify only a local monotone condition and no periodic, coercivity or super or sublinearity restrictions are assumed, as

Fuzzy fractional differential equations with Nagumo and Krasnoselskii-Krein condition [PDF]
In this paper, we consider two new uniqueness results for fuzzy fractional differential equations (FFDEs) involving Riemann-Liouville generalized H-differentiability with the Nagumo-type condition and the Krasnoselskii-Krein-type condition. To this purpose, the equivalent integral forms of FFDEs are determined and then these are used to study the ...

Stochastic periodic orbits in fast-slow systems with self-induced stochastic resonance
Noise is ubiquitous in various systems. In systems with multiple timescales, noise can induce various coherent behaviors. Self-induced stochastic resonance (SISR) is a typical noise-induced phenomenon identified in such systems, wherein noise acting on ...

Bifurcation Results for Periodic Third-Order Ambrosetti-Prodi-Type Problems
This paper presents sufficient conditions for the existence of a bifurcation point for nonlinear periodic third-order fully differential equations. In short, the main discussion on the parameter s about the existence, non-existence, or the multiplicity ...

Pulse propagation in discrete systems of coupled excitable cells [PDF]
Propagation of pulses in myelinated fibers may be described by appropriate solutions of spatially discrete FitzHugh-Nagumo systems. In these systems, propagation failure may occur if either the coupling between nodes is not strong enough or the recovery ...

<p>We study the synchronization behavior of a class of identical FitzHugh-Nagumo-type oscillators under adaptive coupling. We describe the oscillators by a circuit model and we provide a sufficient synchronization condition that relies on the shape of the nonlinear conductance's $(i,u)$-curve and the connectivity of the adaptive coupling network.
