Cold Quad‐Modal Nanocomplex for Precise and Quantitative In Vivo Stem Cell Tracking

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Multimodal albumin–bismuth sulfide–superparamagnetic iron oxide (ABS) nanocomplexes are developed for stem cell tracking across four different imaging modalities: MRI, MPI, MSOT, and CT. Combining its flexibility with high sensitivity, this quad‐modal imaging agent enables a robust quantification of ABS‐labeled stem cells in vivo.

Distinguishing Black Holes and Superspinars in Spinning Modified Gravity via Generalized Spin Precession Frequency

open access: yesGalaxies
We compute the generalized spin precession frequency (Ωp) of a test gyroscope in a stationary spacetime, specifically for a Kerr–MOG black hole within the framework of scalar–tensor–vector gravity (STVG), also known as modified gravity (MOG).

Information loss, made worse by quantum gravity?

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2015
Quantum gravity is often expected to solve both the singularity problem and the information-loss problem of black holes. This article presents an example from loop quantum gravity in which the singularity problem is solved in such a way that the ...

Engineered ETS1‐Nanoconjugate Restores Immune Homeostasis through Dual Immune‐Vascular Modulation in Relapsing and Progressive Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
The biomimetic nanoplatform IMNP (ETS1 pDNA/PBAE@ITP‐MM) undergoes targeted disassembly at inflammatory vascular sites to release the ETS1 plasmid (pETS1). This release initiates a cascade of effects that inhibit pathogenic pathways and support immune homeostasis. (Abbreviations: EndMT, endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition; EC, endothelial cell; TC, T

Electro‐Stimulated Graphene‐Polymer Nanocomposites Enable Wearable Patches With Feedback‐Controlled Drug Release

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
xx xx. ABSTRACT Stimuli‐responsive nanomaterials capable of spatiotemporal control over drug release are of nanocomposite patch (“e‐Medi‐Patch”) engineered from biodegradable polycaprolactone (PCL), graphene nanoplatelets, and a redox‐active therapeutic, niclosamide. The hierarchical composite integrates π‐π interactions between aromatic drug molecules

Axially Symmetric, Asymptotically Flat Vacuum Metric with a Naked Singularity and Closed Timelike Curves

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2016
We present an axially symmetric, asymptotically flat empty space solution of the Einstein field equations containing a naked singularity. The space-time is regular everywhere except on the symmetry axis where it possesses a true curvature singularity ...

Pioneering the Future: Principles, Advances, and Challenges in Organic Electrodes for Aqueous Ammonium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
Leveraging the numerous advantages of ammonium‐ion (NH₄⁺)—including cost‐effectiveness, low corrosiveness, preferential orientation, and rapid diffusion kinetics—aqueous NH₄⁺ batteries (AAIBs) have gained significant attention. This review highlights and evaluates the progress of AAIBs utilizing organic electrode materials such as small molecules ...
