Gravitational perfect fluid collapse in Gauss–Bonnet gravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
The Einstein Gauss–Bonnet theory of gravity is the low-energy limit of heterotic super-symmetric string theory. This paper deals with gravitational collapse of a perfect fluid in Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet gravity by considering the Lemaitre–Tolman–Bondi ...

The Space Within: How Architected Voids Promote Tissue Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review explores the role of void spaces in tissue engineering scaffolds and examines four key methods for introducing porosity into hydrogels at different scales. It discusses sacrificial templating, microgels, phase separation, and 3D printing, highlighting principles, advantages, and limitations. It also addresses emerging strategies integrating

Causally Simple Spacetimes and Naked Singularities

open access: yesIranian Journal of Science
In this paper, We prove a conjecture which states that if M is a nakedly singular future boundary or nakedly singular past boundary spacetime, then the space of null geodesics, N, is non-Hausdorff. Also, we show that every two-dimensional strongly causal spacetime M is causally simple if and only if it is null pseudoconvex.
