Laser-spectroscopic investigations of NaLi (A1Σ+)

Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy and Radiative Transfer, 1991
Abstract Dunham coefficients for the A 1 Σ + state of the heteronuclear alkali dimer NaLi have been determined spectroscopically, using a CW ring dye laser, a heat pipe and a measurement of the fluorescence emitted from different parts of the cell.

Theoretical study on the electronic states of NaLi

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2008
Configuration interaction calculations have been carried out on electronic states of the NaLi molecule and the cation NaLi+. Potential energy curves are presented for the lowest nine Σ1+, seven Π1, four Δ1, eight Σ3+, seven Π3, and four Δ3 states of NaLi as well as for the lowest ten Σ2+, six Π2, and two Δ2 states of NaLi+.

Theoretical Study of the Σ+1, 3Σ+, 3Π, 1Π States of NaLi and the Σ+2 State of NaLi+

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1970
Ab initio calculations have been performed for the NaLi molecule at a series of internuclear distances. The Hartree–Fock and extended Hartree–Fock optimized valence configuration (OVC) approximations of Das and Wahl are compared for the Σ+1 ground-state potential curve.

Stark Effect of NaLi X 1Σ+

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1971
The polarizabilities of the (J=1, M=0) and the (J=2, M=0) rotational states of the gaseous NaLi molecule have been measured by observing the refocusing voltages of a supersonic molecular beam with an electric quadrupole state selector. From these measurements the molecular electric dipole moment μ = 0.47 ± 0.03 D and the molecular electric ...

Collision-induced rotational transitions in nali(1Π)

Chemical Physics, 1973
Abstract Collision-induced rotational transitions in the electronically excited NaLi molecule have been studied using laser excited fluorescence. Due to the greater number of allowed transitions as compared with Na2 and Li2, more cases were found of transitions +ΔJ and −ΔJ having greatly different cross sections (“+/ - asymmetry”).

Environmental influences on growth traits of Nali sheep

Indian Journal of Animal Research, 2014
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect some environmental factors on birth weight, weaning weight and daily gain weight in Nali lambs. Data from 77 records were analysed. Results showed that birth weight (BW), weaning weight (WW), average daily gain at pre-weaning (ADG1) and average daily gain at post-weaning (ADG2) were influenced by ...

Spectroscopic study of the E(4)1Σ+ state in NaLi

Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, 2002
Polarization labelling spectroscopy is applied to study the excited E1sigma+ state of NaLi in the energy range 26,500-28,000 cm(-1) above the bottom of the ground state. The potential curve of the E state is constructed using the Inverted Perturbation Approach method. The values of Te, omega(e) and Re are found to be 26,474.82(4), 180.3(2) cm(-1) and 3.

Relative heat tolerance of Indian Nali and Soviet Merino x Nali halfbred sheep to continuous 35° and 40°C temperature conditions

Nali Kali at Mallige Primary School

2011
This chapter focuses on the practice of the Nali Kali child-centred model in a standard 2 classroom at Mallige Higher Primary School. The discussions seek to illuminate the school and community contexts and the institutional cultures within which child-centred ideas were introduced and reshaped. The discussions’ highlighting of the strongly performance-
