Functional renormalization group study of the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model at finite temperature and density in an external magnetic field

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
In this study, we investigate the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model at finite temperature and finite density in an external magnetic field using the functional renormalization group.

Model companions of theories with an automorphism [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 1998
For a theory $T$ in $L, T_\sigma$ is the theory of the models of $T$ with an automorphism $\sigma$. If $T$ is an unstable model complete theory without the independence property, then $T_\sigma$ has no model companion. If $T$ is an unstable model complete theory and $T_\sigma$ has the amalgamation property, then $T_\sigma$ has no model companion. If $T$

Links Between Different Models for Multifragmentation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 1996
We establish links between three different models for multifragmentation: the percolation model, the lattice gas model and the statistical multifragmentation model. There are remarkable similarities between the lattice gas model and the statistical multifragmentation model.

CURRENT STATUS OF e⁺e⁻→π⁺π⁻η STUDY. EXPERIMENT AND THEORY

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics, 2018
In this note I review the current status of electron-positron annihilation into the π⁺π⁻η final state from both experimental and theoretical sides. The theoretical studies of the reaction are discussed in framework of three theoretical approaches: the ...

Model selection criteria for nonlinear mixed effects modeling [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
We consider constructing model selection criteria for evaluating nonlinear mixed effects models via basis expansions. Mean functions and random functions in the mixed effects model are expressed by basis expansions, then they are estimated by the maximum likelihood method.

QCD critical end point from a realistic PNJL model

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
With parameters fixed by critical temperature and equation of state at zero baryon chemical potential, a realistic Polyakov-Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (rPNJL) model predicts a critical end point of chiral phase transition at (μEB = 720MeV; TE = 93MeV).
