Graph-Based Named Entity Linking with Wikipedia [PDF]
Named entity linking (NEL) grounds entity mentions to their corresponding Wikipedia article. State-of-the-art supervised NEL systems use features over the rich Wikipedia document and link-graph structure. Graph-based measures have been effective over WordNet for word sense disambiguation (WSD).

Building a Graph of Names and Contextual Patterns for Named Entity Classification
2009An algorithm that bootstraps the acquisition of large dictionaries of entity types (names) and pattern types from a few seeds and a large unannotated corpora is presented. The algorithm iteratively builds a bigraph of entities and collocated patterns by querying the text. Several classes simultaneously compete to label the entity types.

A graph-based approach for ontology population with named entities
Proceedings of the 21st ACM international conference on Information and knowledge management, 2012Automatically populating ontology with named entities extracted from the unstructured text has become a key issue for Semantic Web and knowledge management techniques. This issue naturally consists of two subtasks: (1) for the entity mention whose mapping entity does not exist in the ontology, attach it to the right category in the ontology (i.e., fine-

Hue cycle described by graphs and color names
Color Research & Application, 1991AbstractThe color appearance of the hue cycle in equal radiance is described in hue, saturation, and brightness/lightness. The latter does not resemble CIE luminance Y (peaking at 555 nm green), but peaks near 570 nm yellow with minor peaks near 490 nm cyan and 530 c magenta. Saturation per watt peaks near 450, 530, 610 nm (blue, green, red).

A Graph-based Approach to Person Name Disambiguation in Web
ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems, 2019This article presents a name disambiguation approach to resolve ambiguities between person names and group web pages according to the individuals they refer to. The proposed approach exploits two important sources of entity-centric semantic information extracted from web pages, including personal attributes and social relationships.
