Composites are replacing the conventional and non-conventional alloys and materials. They are used to enhance the material properties & performance efficiency. Also to design materials with combination of desired properties. Nano composites are the developed version in use. Nano means a Greek prefix of “one billionth”.

Composite mesostructures by nano-confinement
Nature Materials, 2004In a physically confined environment, interfacial interactions, symmetry breaking, structural frustration and confinement-induced entropy loss can play dominant roles in determining molecular organization. Here we present a systematic study of the confined assembly of silica-surfactant composite mesostructures within cylindrical nanochannels of varying

Nano-radiogold-decorated composite bioparticles
Materials Science and Engineering: C, 2019Hybrid composite bioparticles modified with stable and radioactive gold nanoparticles were prepared via reduction of tetrachloroauric acid within Lactobacillus rhamnosus cells. The resulting biocomposite material was characterized using a number of physicochemical techniques, including microscopic, spectroscopic and thermal methods.

Nano Colorful Cement Composite
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013The purpose of this study is to investigate the strength and mechanical properties of concrete by partial replacement of cement with nano-pigment particles. Nano-pigment particles with the average diameter of 120 nm were used with ten different contents of 0.5%, 0.1%, 1.5% and 4.0% by weight.

Nano-diamond reinforced ZrB2–SiC composites
Ceramics International, 2020Abstract The effect of adding various amounts of nano-diamond additive (0, 1, 2, and 3 wt%) on the densification behavior and mechanical properties of ZrB2-25 vol% SiC samples were investigated in this research. All samples were spark plasma sintered at 1900 °C under 40 MPa external pressure for 7 min.

Nano-SiO2-Engineered Cementitious Composites
2019Nano-SiO2 particles with pozzolanic activity are introduced into different types of cementitious composites to reinforce/modify their properties/performances. The effects and their mechanisms of nano-SiO2 on the rheology, mechanical properties/performances, and durability of cementitious composites are investigated through performance, thermogravimetry,

Nano-Silica Composite Laminate
2013 IEEE 63rd Electronic Components and Technology Conference, 2013This paper introduces a newly-developed Nano-Silica Composite Laminate packaging technology that utilizes a nano-silica matrix composite material with outstanding properties. Nano-Silica Composite Laminate packaging technology enables us to create a thinner, downsized packaging that is less susceptible to warpage.

Nano-composites for rocket solid propellants
Composites Science and Technology, 2005Aim of this work is the study of different components (binder and aluminum powders) of solid propellants used for rocket propulsion to improve ballistic performance. New propellant formulations have been tested and characterised. Combustion residues were collected by a proprietary method and analyzed both from the morphological and chemical point of ...

Synthesis of Ag-liposome nano composites
Journal of Liposome Research, 2010Silver nanoparticles were synthesized and stabilized by a simple, environment-friendly method in a liposomes structure. Liposomes were prepared by facing lecithin to the aqueous-phase solutions while stirring vigorously. The ratio of lecithin concentration to silver nitrate (K(Lec/Ag) = [Lecithin]/[AgNO(3)]) is the influencing factor in the synthesis ...
