Effects of Preformed Martensite on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Nanobainite Bearing Steel [PDF]
Previous studies have indicated that the preformed martensite has a significant effect on the subsequent bainite transformation of nanobainite bearing steel, but its effects on the microstructure and mechanical properties are still unclear. In this paper,

Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Tempered Ausrolled Nanobainite Steel [PDF]
The microstructures and mechanical properties of ausrolled nanobainite steel, after being tempered at temperatures in the range of 200−400 °C, were investigated in this study. After being tempered, bainitic ferrite is coarsened and the volume fraction of

Effect of Nanobainite Content on the Dry Sliding Wear Behavior of an Al-Alloyed High Carbon Steel with Nanobainitic Microstructure [PDF]
In this work, a multiphase microstructure consisting of nanobainte, martensite, undissolved spherical carbide, and retained blocky austenite has been prepared in an Al-alloyed high carbon steel. The effect of the amount of nanobainite on the dry sliding wear behavior of the steel is studied using a pin-on-disc tester with loads ranging from 25–75 N ...

Nanobainite Generated in Low‐ and Medium‐Carbon Steels via an Economical Alloying Strategy [PDF]
A low‐cost strategy for generating low‐ and medium‐C steel alloys relying on Al additions to accelerate the transformation is investigated. Increasing Al in isothermally and continuously cooled conditions refines the lamellar thickness, lowers both the incubation and transformation times but causes a slight drop in tensile properties.
