A thermoregulated phase-transfer ruthenium nanocatalyst for the atmospheric hydrogenation of α,β-unsaturated ketones

open access: yesJournal of Chemical Research, 2023
The selective hydrogenation of chalcone to dihydrochalcone under atmospheric hydrogen pressure is investigated using a thermoregulated phase-transfer ruthenium nanocatalyst, representing the first ruthenium nanocatalyst used for this reaction.

Boosting Photo‐Pyroelectric Effect via Tunable Polarization and Interfacial Defect Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reports Ba(Ti0.85Zr0.15)O3 nanocatalysts with enhanced polarization and oxygen‐vacancy‐rich interfaces for efficient NIR‐II photo‐pyroelectric therapy. Zr doping boosts the pyroelectric coefficient and accelerates polarization switching, while oxygen vacancies improve photothermal conversion and surface reactivity.

Multi‐Organelle Stress‐Induced Paraptosis by a ROS‐Amplifying Nanocatalyst for Enhanced Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The engineered TF‐Fe@LC nanoplatform programs paraptotic death via multipath ROS amplification that disrupts redox homeostasis, provoking mitochondrial dysfunction, autophagic blockade, and ER stress. This caspase‐independent process elicits robust immunogenic cell death, combining with αPD‐L1 to activate systemic CD8+ T‐cell immunity and suppress ...

Synthesis of 2-substituted benzimidazole, coumarin, benzo[b][1,4]oxazin and dihydropyrimidinone derivatives using core-shell structured Fe3O4@SiO2-ZnCl2 nanoparticles as an effective catalyst

open access: yesResults in Chemistry, 2020
In this paper, a magnetic nanocatalyst of Fe3O4@SiO2-ZnCl2 has been used which enhances the synthesis of benzimidazoles, coumarins, benzoxazines and dihydropyrimidinones. To begin with, 2-substituted benzimidazoles have been synthesized in proper to high

Unearthing Atomic Dynamics in Nanocatalysts

open access: yesACS Applied Materials & Interfaces
Being able to access the rich atomic-scale phenomenology, which occurs during the reactions pathways, is a pressing need toward the pursued knowledge-based design of more efficient nanocatalysts, precisely tailored atom by atom for each reaction. However, to reach this goal of achieving maximum optimization, it is mandatory, first, to address how ...

Inhibiting cGAS‐STING to Preserve Mitochondrial–Nuclear Communication and Stemness in Young Tendon Stem Cells: A Hydrogel Strategy against Age‐Related Tendinopathy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dual‐targeting strategy to rejuvenate aged tendons. A reactive oxygen species (ROS)‐responsive hydrogel co‐delivers a selenium nanozyme (scavenges ROS) and a STING inhibitor to tendon stem cells. This combined action restores mitochondria–nucleus communication, alleviates cellular senescence, and rejuvenates tendon regeneration, offering a novel ...
