Toward Bright Polymetallic Biopolymer-Protected Luminescent Nanoclusters
Polymetallic nanoclusters (NCs) offer a powerful route to brighter and more tunable luminescent materials, while biopolymer ligands provide additional advantages for sensing and bioimaging. However, the mechanisms responsible for luminescence enhancement

Asymmetric single‐atom metal‐nitrogen‐carbon catalysts modulate the non‐radical pathway during peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation. A fundamental contrast was revealed between diffusible singlet oxygen (1O2) and non‐diffusible electron‐transfer pathways (ETP) in antibiotic resistance gene (ARG) degradation.

Phase separation emerges during the initial growth of heavily Ni‐ and Ni,Nb‐co‐doped STO thin films, leading to preferential accumulation of Ni and embedded NiOx nanoinclusions in thicker films. Nb co‐doping partially suppresses the ordering of these embedded structures, comprising about 20% of all Ni ions.

Through quantitative ligand stripping of [Cu18H17(PR3)10]+ nanoclusters via intramolecular interaction modulation, selectivity for CO2 electroreduction to C2H4 is significantly enhanced. The weakly coordinating ligand triggers dual‐ligand stripping (FEC2H4 = 70.59%), whereas the strongly coordinating ligand results in single‐ligand retention (FEC2H4 ...

Nanoclusters in magnetoresistance
AbstractElectronic phase separation is one of the most exciting findings during the study of strongly correlated electron systems in past decades. Inhomogeneities at the nanoscale have been proven to not only play a key role in the material properties but also challenge the fundamental concepts of condensed matter physics.
