Hybrid drug nanocrystals

Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews, 2019
Nanocrystals show promise to deliver poorly water-soluble drugs to yield systemic exposure. However, our knowledge regarding the in vivo fate of nanocrystals is in its infancy, as nanocrystallization is simply viewed as an approach to enhance the dissolution of drug crystals.

The nanocrystal wizard

C&EN Global Enterprise, 2021
A. Paul Alivisatos developed the techniques that are now widely used for synthesizing colloidal nanocrystals and exquisitely controlling their sizes, shapes, and other properties.

Diffraction by nanocrystals II

Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2014
Nanocrystals with more than one molecule in the unit cell will generally crystallize with incomplete unit cells on the crystal surface. Previous results show that the ensemble-averaged diffraction by such crystals consists of a usual Bragg component and two other Bragg-like components due to the incomplete unit cells.

Adventures with Nanocrystals

2021
Hi all - Due to some IP issues I wont be talking about my new upconversion data. Instead I will talk about 3 papers from my PhD on: Multiple Exciton Generation in PVs. Photon Reabsorption in LEDs. and a project we fondly referred as "Good Dot Bad Dot".

Chemical Approaches to Semiconductor Nanocrystals and Nanocrystal Materials

1999
At present “nanotechnology” is a vision rather than a reality. We do not have practical, manufacturable methods to make complex materials, machines, and electrical circuits on the 1–100 nm scale. However, there is a flourishing “nanoscience” research effort involving ideas and methods drawn from chemistry, physics, and engineering science. “Nanoscience”
