Leveraging the Amorphous Nature of Sn–P Alloys for Improved Stability and Energy Density in Na‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Amorphous SnP3 undergoes homogeneous solid‐solution sodiation, delivering exceptional cycling stability and volumetric capacity. In contrast, crystalline Sn4P3 phase‐separates into Na‐Sn and Na‐P domains, causing rapid capacity decay and severe pulverization.

Investigation of absorption of nanocrystalline silicon

open access: yes, 1999
Nanocrystalline silicon embedded SiO2 matrix is formed by annealing the SiO2 films fabricated by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition technique. In conjunction with the micro-Ramam spectra, the absorption spectra of the films have been investigated.

Injectable Bone Cements: A Generational Framework for Bioactivity, Porosity, and Mechanobiological Design at the Nanoscale

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
Key demographic, biological, and material considerations that drive the need for advanced injectable bone cement technologies. Injectable bone cements (IBCs) are widely used in orthopaedic and craniofacial applications due to their minimally invasive delivery and ability to provide early mechanical stabilisation.

PENAMBAHAN BAKTERI ASAM LAKTAT TERENKAPSULASI UNTUK MENEKAN PERTUMBUHAN BAKTERI PATOGEN PADA PROSES PRODUKSI TAPIOKA [Addition of Encapsulated Lactic Acid Bacteria to Suppress the Growth of Pathogenic Bacteria during Tapioca Production]

open access: yesJurnal Teknologi dan Industri Pangan, 2015
Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) produce organic acids and active compounds which can inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria. Lactic acid bacteria potentially can be introduced to inhibit pathogenic bacteria in the tapioca production at the extraction stage,

Structural phase transformations of ZnS nanocrystalline under high pressure

open access: yes, 2004
In-situ energy dispersive x-ray diffraction on ZnS nanocrystalline was carried out under high pressure by using a diamond anvil cell. Phase transition of wurtzite of 10 nm ZnS to rocksalt occurred at 16.0 GPa, which was higher than that of the bulk ...

Green Fuel Combustion Synthesis of CeO2 and Ag/CeO2 Nanoparticles for Photocatalytic and Antibacterial Applications

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Silver‐doped cerium oxide nanoparticles (Ag/CeO2 NPs) were synthesized using Ricinus communis seed extract as a bio‐derived fuel in a solution combustion method. The combustion reaction, carried out at 450°C with AgNO3 and (NH4)2[Ce (NO3)6] as metal precursors, produced CeO2 and Ag/CeO2 NPs.
