Nanocrystallization Process of Diarylethene

Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals, 2011
We have clarified nanocrystallization process of diarylethene in the reprecipitation method using a derivative, cis-1,2-cyano-1,2-bis(2,4,5,-trimethyl-3-thienyl)ethene (CMTE) as a typical example of diarylethene. The crystal growth was investigated by the time-dependence measurement of crystal size with dynamic light scattering (DLS ...

Nanocrystallization of Co33Zr67 Glasses

Journal of Materials Science, 1997
Crystallization of Co33Zr67 glasses was studied at temperatures below and above the glass transition temperature, Tg, by means of TEM and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Nanocrystalline cubic structure (“big” cubes; a = 1.22 nm) was revealed at temperatures above Tg as well as at low annealing temperatures in DSC.

Bipolar conductivity in nanocrystallized TiO2

Applied Physics Letters, 2012
This study calculated the contribution of electrons and holes to TiO2 conductivity in Si/TiO2/Ni structures by conducting experiments on the injection of minority carriers from n- and p-type silicon. Results show that electrons and holes contribute to the conductivity of TiO2, enabling two-band conductivity.

Nanocrystallization of amorphous Fe33Zr67 alloy

Nanostructured Materials, 1996
Abstract A nanocrystalline (NC) fcc FeZr 2 intermetallic compound was formed by completely crystallizing the melt-spun amorphous Fe 33 Zr 67 alloy ribbons. The nanocrystallization kinetics and microstructures of the crystallized products were characterized by means of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission ...

Nanocrystallization of metallic glasses

Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 2001
The paper summarizes briefly the current status of research in the field of nanocrystallization of metallic glasses especially highlighting the influence of glass composition and conditions of devitrification process on size, morphology and composition of crystallization products. Conventional crystallization creates a nanocrystalline structure only in

Nanocrystallization of Zr61Al7.5Cu17.5Ni10Si4 metallic glass

Intermetallics, 2009
Abstract The primary nanocrystallization behavior and microstructural evolution of the Zr 61 Al 7.5 Cu 17.5 Ni 10 Si 4 alloy during annealing were investigated by isothermal differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffractometry and transmission electron microscopy. During continuous heating of the 4Si and the base (contains no Si) amorphous alloys

FINEMET-type nanocrystallization kinetics

Thermochimica Acta, 2002
Abstract The primary nanostructure formation kinetics in a set of Fe–Cu–Nb–Si–B ribbons has been studied by the use of differential scanning calorimetry in both continuous-heating and isothermal measuring regimes. The nanostructure formation consists of two independent kinetic modes, namely the Johnson–Mehl–Avrami nucleation-and-growth mode and the ...

Nanocrystallization of Pd74Si18Au8 metallic glass

Intermetallics, 2002
Abstract The crystallization process of Pd 74 Si 18 Au 8 amorphous alloy has been investigated by transmission electron microscopy, small angle X-ray scattering and three-dimensional atom probe techniques. Although literature suggests that the alloy decomposes into two glassy phases prior to the crystallization, we found that the crystallization ...
