ABSTRACT The lower thermal conductivity (TC) of mica tape hinders the evolution of large generators towards higher voltage and capacity. To enhance the TC of the mica tape, with the help of the three‐dimensional (3D) multi‐layer framework of the mica paper, a 3D polydopamine‐coated boron nitride (h‐BN@PDA) TC network was constructed by pre‐placing h‐BN@

Thiourea modification of fluorescent nanodiamonds towards enhanced quantum sensing
We functionalized fluorescent nanodiamonds of various sizes using a thiourea-based thiolation reaction to tailor their surface chemistry for biological and quantum technological applications. Spectroscopic analyses revealed that this reaction generates a

Decoding Metamorphic Nanodiamonds Formation Through Their Internal Structures
ABSTRACT Metamorphic diamonds offer insights into Earth's evolution, modulating the global carbon cycle through subduction into the mantle and exhumation. However, the formation and internal structure of minute diamonds remain poorly understood. Here, we study the internal structures of diamond‐bearing inclusions from the Eastern Alps using state‐of ...

Noble gases and nitrogen in material from asteroid Bennu
Abstract We report the elemental and isotopic abundances of all stable noble gases (helium, neon, argon, krypton, and xenon) in eight particles from asteroid Bennu returned by NASA's OSIRIS‐REx mission. We also report nitrogen abundances and isotopic ratios that were analyzed alongside neon and argon in four additional Bennu particles.

Here, we employed organic additives and binders to disperse or passivate hydrogen‐terminated nanodiamonds, thereby addressing the issue of aggregation formation when they are cast on ITO substrate as an electron transport layer in organic solar cells. This results in better film quality, as well as improved device performance and stability.

Optical properties of the complexes of detonation nanodiamonds with an indotricarbocyanine dye
A method to create complexes of detonation nanodiamonds with molecules of an indotricarbocyanine dye was developed. The process of complex formation was shown to depend on the nanodiamond annealing conditions.
