FABRICATION OF PCL-COLLAGEN NANOFIBER USING CHLOROFORM-FORMIC ACID SOLUTION AND ITS APPLICATION AS WOUND DRESSING CANDIDATE

open access: yesJournal of Stem Cell Research and Tissue Engineering, 2018
In this study, polycaprolactone-collagen nanofiber was prepared with 10% w/v composition using a mixture of chloroform-formic acid. PCL was dissolved in chloroform while collagen was dissolved in formic acid.

Rational Fine‐Tuning of MOF Pore Metrics: Enhanced SO2 Capture and Sensing with Optimal Multi‐Site Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A pore tuning strategy to amplify the multi‐site MOF‐SO2 interactions is proposed to achieve an enhanced trace SO2 capture and chemiresistive sensing in highly stable isostructural DMOFs by annelating benzene rings. This work provides a facile strategy to achieve tailor‐made stable MOF materials for specific multifunctional applications.

Optical nanofiber-based cavity induced by periodic air-nanohole arrays [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We experimentally realized an optical nanofiber-based cavity by combining a 1-D photonic crystal and Bragg grating structures. The cavity morphology comprises a periodic, triplex air-cube introduced at the waist of the nanofiber.

Nanofibers with Bragg gratings from equidistant holes

open access: yes, 2011
We study nanofibers with Bragg gratings from equidistant holes. We calculate analytically and numerically the reflection and transmission coefficients for a single grating and also for a cavity formed by two gratings.
