Production of Elastomeric Composites With Different Methods of Incorporating of Graphene Nanoplatelets Into SBR Latex

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 11, March 15, 2026.
This study explores scalable methods of incorporating graphene nanoplatelets into SBR latex with or without a surfactant, using either powder or a masterbatch. Results show that combining a masterbatch with the surfactant DTAB improves vulcanization speed, mechanical strength, hardness, thermal conductivity, and resistance to aging.

Spectral‐Splitting Photovoltaic‐Thermal Solar Collectors Using Selective Hybrid Liquid‐Solid Optical Filters

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 14, Issue 10, 13 March 2026.
A solar spectral‐splitting photovoltaic–thermal collector integrating a hybrid liquid‐solid optical filter is experimentally demonstrated. Selective optical filtering enables thermal–electrical decoupling, achieving elevated fluid temperatures while maintaining reduced PV operating temperatures.
