Designing Scalable Mechano‐Virucidal Nanostructured Acrylic Surfaces for Enhanced Viral Inactivation
Can a surface be designed to physically break viruses? This study explores how nanoscale geometry—specifically the spacing of tiny pillars—can determine whether viruses remain intact or rupture. Using flexible acrylic and a scalable fabrication process, the authors develop nanopillared, transparent surfaces that show strong antiviral activity without ...

ABSTRACT Strain is a proven technique for modifying the bandgap and enhancing carrier mobility in 2D materials. Most current strain engineering techniques rely on the post‐growth transfer of these atomically thin materials from growth substrates to target surfaces, limiting their integration into nanoelectronics.

We developed a real‐time, label‐free, high‐throughput cell‐on‐a‐chip system based on a metasurface plasmon resonance colorimetric sensor (MetaSPRCS) to evaluate intestinal barrier function. This platform enables continuous monitoring of cell adhesion, proliferation, and barrier layer formation, disruption, and repair.

Toward Defect‐Free Nanoimprinting
AbstractNanoimprinting large‐area structures, especially high‐density features like meta lenses, poses challenges in achieving defect‐free nanopatterns. Conventional high‐resolution molds for nanoimprinting are often expensive, typically constructed from inorganic materials such as silicon, nickel (Ni), or quartz.
