Scissorable Piezoelectric Nanogenerators Comprising Flexible Micrograting Electrodes Interconnected by Laterally Aligned ZnO Nanowires for Size‐Customizable Devices

open access: yesEcoMat, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2026.
A “scissorable” piezoelectric nanogenerator (SCIPENG) comprising flexible micrograting electrodes laterally interconnected by ZnO nanowires is developed. The SCIPENG device can be easily resized simply by using scissors without compromising performance, offering predictable scaling of output voltage and current.

Novel ultraflexible transparent self-heating composite films for nanoimprint lithography

open access: yesMaterials & Design
The novel self-heating composite films aim to provide an innovative heat source solution for nanoimprint lithography technology (NIL). The composite films are deposited by spin coating silver nanowires (AgNWs) on patterned substrates and then coating the

Nanoimprint Fabrication of Slot Waveguides

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2013
A nanoimprint mold for optical waveguide applications was fabricated by combining photolithography and focused ion beam (FIB) milling. The feasibility of the proposed method was demonstrated by imprinting 15-mm-long Y-branch waveguides, which had ...

Laser‐Driven Halide Exchange and High‐Resolution Multicolor Patterning of Perovskite Films

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Translating the excellent properties of metal halide perovskites (MHPs) into practical flexible optoelectronic devices requires high‐resolution multicolor patterning techniques that are compatible with post‐fabrication processing. However, such a capability has remained elusive.

Single‐Molecule Imaging and Spectroscopy Enables Quantification of Location‐Dependent Light–Matter Interactions on Nanoantennas

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 6, Issue 3, March 2026.
The fluorescence intensity as well as the spectral shape of the emission of single dye molecules strongly depend on the molecules’ exact position relative to plasmonic nanoparticles in hybrid systems. By point‐spread function modification analysis, the vertical binding location of single fluorophores on gold nanocones is obtained and correlated to both

Direct Photochemical Patterning of Lithium Niobate Structures for Scalable Nonlinear Optical Metasurfaces

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 6, Issue 3, March 2026.
Photochemical metal–organic decomposition (PMOD) enables scalable patterning of lithium niobate (LN) metasurfaces under ambient conditions, eliminating the need for cleanrooms or harsh etching. This bottom‐up approach produces complex, diverse, and size‐tunable polycrystalline LN patterns.

SERS Substrate Fabrication via Rapid Triboelectrification‐Driven Self‐Assembly of Close‐Packed Colloidal Monolayers

open access: yesSmall Methods, Volume 10, Issue 6, 24 March 2026.
Triboelectrification‐driven self‐assembly of dry colloidal powder offers a promising dry approach to rapidly (<20$<20$ s) attain ordered monolayer colloidal particles for surface‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy applications. ABSTRACT Surface‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) amplifies Raman signals on nanostructured metallic surfaces, enabling the ...
