Mandible composition and properties in two selected praying mantises (Insecta, Mantodea)
Abstract Insects process their food with their cuticle‐based mouthparts. These feeding structures reflect their diversity and can, in some cases, showcase adaptations in material composition, mechanical properties, and shape to suit their specific dietary preferences.

Abstract Bats possess the remarkable ability to fly, and with this, distinctive wing bone properties. We investigated the structural, mechanical, and compositional properties of the humerus, radius, metacarpals, and proximal and middle phalanges of Carollia perspicillata, an approximately 15 g fruit‐eating bat native to the Neotropics.

On‐Liquid Surface Synthesis of Crystalline 2D Polyimine Thin Films
This work demonstrates the on‐liquid surface synthesis of crystalline 2D polyimine films by leveraging a fluorinated surfactant and a binary solvent mixture of DMAc‐H2O. In situ grazing incidence X‐ray scattering reveals stepwise monomer adsorption, preorganization, and polymerization, accompanied by lattice expansion from 3.4 to 5.3 nm.
