CXCR4(+)-targeted protein nanoparticles produced in the food-grade bacterium Lactococcus lactis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Lactococcus lactis is a Gram-positive (endotoxin-free) food-grade bacteria exploited as alternative to Escherichia coli for recombinant protein production. We have explored here for the first time the ability of this platform as producer of complex, self-

Outcome Assessment in Children and Adolescents With Chronic Pain: An International Clinical Practice Survey

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Pain, Volume 30, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Effective treatment of paediatric chronic pain requires a robust and comprehensive set of outcome assessment tools to evaluate treatment effectiveness. Although a core outcome set (COS) exists for clinical trials, its practicability and appropriateness for clinical practice is currently unknown. This cross‐sectional study led by the

The Route to Artery Mimetics: Hybrid Bioinks for Embedded Bioprinting of Multimaterial Cylindrical Models

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 49, December 2, 2025.
The fabrication of a cellularized, multilayered 3D printed cylindrical model comprising hybrid bioinks inspired by the natural extracellular environment as an approach to artery mimetics, is presented. Using embedded bioprinting, interlayer crosslinking of self‐supporting concentric cylinders is achieved.
