Assessing Graphene Nanopores for Sequencing DNA [PDF]
Using all-atom molecular dynamics and atomic-resolution Brownian dynamics, we simulate the translocation of single-stranded DNA through graphene nanopores and characterize the ionic current blockades produced by DNA nucleotides. We find that transport of single DNA strands through graphene nanopores may occur in single nucleotide steps.

Graphene Sculpturene Nanopores for DNA Nucleobase Sensing [PDF]
To demonstrate the potential of nanopores in bilayer graphene for DNA sequencing, we computed the current-voltage characteristics of a bilayer graphene junction containing a nanopore and found that they change significantly when nucleobases are transported through the pore.
