Bithiophene–Porphyrin Hybrid Nanorings
Chemistry – An Asian Journal, 2010Covalently linked multiAin arrays have been extensively explored for their numerous applications in molecular devices such as models of photosynthetic systems, sensors, nonlinear optical (NLO) devices, and others. [1–3] The electronic coupling between the constituent porphyrin chromophores is a key parameter that determines the various important ...

Squeezing of magnetic flux in nanorings
Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter, 2012We study superconducting and non-superconducting nanorings and look for non-classical features of magnetic flux passing through nanorings. We show that the magnetic flux can exhibit purely quantum properties in some peculiar states with quadrature squeezing.

Top‐Up Fabrication of Gold Nanorings
Chemistry – An Asian Journal, 2014AbstractA simple method for the fabrication of gold nanorings with reliable material composition and reproducible morphology that relies on a combination of top‐down and bottom‐up techniques is presented. Here, lithographically defined hole arrays are used as templates for the deposition of gold nanoparticles.

Computational Generation of RNA Nanorings
2017A variety of designed RNA ring structures (ranging from triangles to hexagonal rings) have been reported in the scientific literature. Designing self-assembling RNA ring structures from structural motifs is, however, a nontrivial problem as there are many combinations of motifs and linking helices.

Cyclooctatetraene‐Embedded Carbon Nanorings
Angewandte Chemie International EditionAbstract With the prosperity of the development of carbon nanorings, certain topologically or functionally unique units‐embedded carbon nanorings have sprung up in the past decade. Herein, we report the facile and efficient synthesis of three cyclooctatetraene‐embedded carbon nanorings ( COTCNR

Abstract A new family of carbon nanorings with circular centerlines is predicted. The ring structure is parametrized by the chirality of the precursor graphene sheet that is rolled to produce a nanotube and then bent to form a nanoring, and by the number of repeated units defining the ring diameter. The individual atomic positions over rings with zig-
