Microstructure and hardness of a nanostructured Fe-40Al at% alloy

Abstract Microstructural changes induced by ball milling under different conditions and posterior annealing in Fe-40Al at% B2 alloys have been studied. High speed milling results in more disordered samples and milling media contamination, which affects the thermal reordering.
