Nanotubes

ChemPhysChem, 2001
Carbon nanotubes were discovered soon after the successful laboratory synthesis of fullerenes. Since their discovery in 1991, there has been intensive research activity in the area of carbon nanotubes, not only because of their fascinating structural features and properties, but also because of their potential technological applications.

Graphane Nanotubes

ACS Nano, 2012
In this work, one-dimensional graphane nanotubes (GN, stoichiometry CH), built from 2D single-sheet graphanes, are explored theoretically. Zigzag type GN(10,0) and armchair type GN(10,10) structures with varying surface termination were investigated in detail.
