Electrides offer unique opportunities as catalyst supports for hydrogen evolution reactions. This study presents an electride‐supported Ru/Nd2ScSi2 catalyst exhibiting outstanding hydrogen evolution reaction performance and excellent stability. Anionic Ru species on the electride surface facilitate water dissociation and optimize hydrogen adsorption ...

Unsaturated Coordination Oxygen in Zn─V─O Vacancy Clusters Enables Superb Zinc Storage Capability
Zn3(VO4)2 with Zn─V─O vacancy clusters was synthesized and innovatively applied as cathode material in aqueous Zn‐ion batteries. In‐situ XRD, HRTEM and ab initio molecular dynamics simulations unveil the double reaction mechanism of zinc ions. Adsorption of zinc ions on unsaturated coordination O and H+ on O in ‐VO4 contributes to the main capacity. It

Appropriate butylene oxide (BO) functionalization of amines (polyethyleneimine (PEI1200 and PEI300) and tris(2‐aminoethyl)amine (TREN)) enables excellent cyclic working capacities (WCcyclic) at low desorption temperatures (40−70°C). Notably, 0.30BO‐PEI300‐SY and 0.54BO‐TREN‐SY show the highest WCcyclic at 45 and 40°C, respectively.

Advanced Dental Composite Technology via Bisilanized Dual‐Action Nanofillers for Biofilm Control
A multimodal research strategy has led to the development of an innovative resin‐based composite (RBC) with dual antibacterial action. The S_CM‐RBC formula showed strong antibiofilm activity, excellent mechanical strength, and biosafety. It effectively controlled oral bacteria in prevention of caries recurrence, and maintained pulp health in a rat ...

Narrative Inquiry is a research methodology that we adapted over the past two decades from Canadian higher education and curriculum studies to nursing research, education, and health-care practice. The Narrative Inquiry we use originated from Connelly and Clandinin in the 1990s, and rests on John Dewey’s philosophy that experience is relational ...

Whilst there are a range of theoretical assumptions and approaches associated with narrative inquiry, there is, according to Stanley and Temple (2008: 276) "little shared sense of core concerns, of approach, and even of what narrative is seen as." This chapter aims to provide some coherence and practical guidance when engaging in narrative inquiry in ...
