IMPACT OF NARROW‐BAND IMAGING IN SCREENING COLONOSCOPY [PDF]
Narrow band‐imaging (NBI) enhances mucosal visualization of the vascular network and surface structure and helps to increase the visibility of neoplasia by improving contrast. Studies on the detectability of colorectal neoplastic lesions using NBI have primarily been reported in Western countries, but the published opinions and conclusions remain ...

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Narrow band CCD imaging of four PNe [PDF]
We present first results of a project to construct and study spatio-kinematical models of selected Planetary Nebulae (PNe). Deep monochromatic CCD images of A8, A4, M2-55, and J-320 were made with the Calar Alto 2.2m telescope and the two interference filters 5005/90 and 6574/104 for the [O III] and Hα+[N II] emission lines.

Loss of AMBRA1 activates MAPK and angiogenesis signaling pathways in melanoma cells
Loss of AMBRA1 in melanoma cells activates multiple oncogenic pathways associated with tumor progression. Transcriptomic and protein network analyses revealed that AMBRA1 depletion enhances MAPK/ERK signaling, angiogenesis, TGF‐β/EMT signaling, and Wnt/axon guidance pathways.

PDMS Microlenses for Focusing Light in Narrow Band Imaging Diagnostics
Minimally invasive medical devices can greatly benefit from Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) diagnostic capabilities, as different wavelengths allow penetration of distinct layers of the gastrointestinal tract mucosa, improving diagnostic accuracy and targeting

ABSTRACT Objective To explore how cerebral hypoxia and Normal‐Appearing White Matter (NAWM) integrity affect MS lesion burden and clinical course. Methods Seventy‐nine MS patients, including 13 clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) patients and 66 relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients, and 44 healthy controls (HCs) were recruited from ...

The role of narrow band imaging in colorectal polyp detection
Colonoscopic detection and removal of polyps represent the most important prevention method for colorectal cancer. We aimed to investigate the diagnostic yield of narrow band imaging (NBI) colonoscopy for polyp detection compared with standard ...
