ATM for narrowband services

IEEE Communications Magazine, 1994
ATM is a broadband fast-packet technology, but its modern technological base should make it less expensive than existing circuit switching systems once economies of scale are reached. The article examines the use of ATM to address the growth of emerging narrowband services such as frame relay.

Narrowband Magnetic Particle Imaging

IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, 2009
The magnetic particle imaging (MPI) method directly images the magnetization of super-paramagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) nanoparticles, which are contrast agents commonly used in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). MPI, as originally envisioned, requires a high-bandwidth receiver coil and preamplifier, which are difficult to optimally noise match. This paper

Narrowband Angle Filter

Optical Interference Coatings Conference (OIC) 2019, 2019
Narrowband pass filters are generally poor as narrowband angle filters. A tilted narrowband pass filter, however, is an improved narrowband angle filter, but only for rays in one plane of incidence. It is shown that a combination of two tilted narrowband pass filters will select light from all narrow angle patches in an incident cone.

Why not narrowband?

SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts 2011, 2011
• The interfaces between the rocks above and below these layers created high acoustic impedance boundaries that reflect a good percentage of the down-going and/or up-going seismic energy. • The layers can be highly absorptive, attenuating high and mid frequencies and only passing low frequencies. • In salt provinces, as well as absorbing seismic energy,
