Mental Fatigue and Resistance Exercise: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis Including GRADE Qualification

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Sport Science, Volume 26, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT The recent increase in randomized controlled trials evaluating the effects of mental fatigue (MF) on RE warrants an update of the available meta‐analytical evidence. This study presents the results of a comprehensive systematic review and meta‐analysis, including GRADE qualification, examining the effects of MF on RE across different subgroups.

Immersive virtual reality versus traditional instruction for long‐term retention of cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills in medical student education: A randomized controlled trial

open access: yesHong Kong Journal of Emergency Medicine, Volume 33, Issue 3, June 2026.
Abstract Background The rapid decay of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills remains a pervasive challenge in medical education. Although immersive virtual reality (VR) is increasingly used for training, its efficacy in mitigating long‐term skill decay compared to traditional methods remains unclear.

Measuring Cognitive Load Index in Online Learning: A Multi‐Modal Approach

open access: yesJournal of Computer Assisted Learning, Volume 42, Issue 3, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Online learning has become increasingly prominent in education, necessitating a deeper understanding of its impact on students' cognitive load (CL). Existing studies often focus on single data sources and overlook multimodal assessments, limiting a deeper understanding of how CL and emotional states manifest and interact during ...
