CFD simulations of turbulent flow in the human upper airways [PDF]
In this paper, investigations are conducted using Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) turbulence models to investigate the importance of turbulence modelling for nasal inspiration at a constant flow rate of 250 ml/s. Four different, standard turbulence models are tested in a model geometry based on pre-operative CT images of a selected obstructive ...

Semi-Automated Nasal PAP Mask Sizing using Facial Photographs [PDF]
We present a semi-automated system for sizing nasal Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) masks based upon a neural network model that was trained with facial photographs of both PAP mask users and non-users. It demonstrated an accuracy of 72% in correctly sizing a mask and 96% accuracy sizing to within 1 mask size group.

Human induced pluripotent stem cell‐derived retinal pigment epithelial (hiPSC‐RPE) cells, cultured on a clinically relevant PDLLA scaffold, are transplanted into immunosuppressed minipigs. The study demonstrates the viability, integration, and preservation of RPE‐specific features without gliosis or neuroinflammation, supporting their potential as a ...
