[Ectopic tooth in the nasal cavity].
Revue de stomatologie et de chirurgie maxillo-faciale, 2004The eruption of a canine tooth into the nasal cavity constitutes one topographic form of dental ectopy. We report a case and discuss the diagnostic aspects and diverse pathogenic theories proposed. This unusual situation should be suspected in patients with nasal obstruction and unilateral fetid purulent rhinorrhea.
