Solitary keratoacanthoma of the nasal vestibule
The Journal of Laryngology & Otology, 1991AbstractKeratoacanthomas are lesions which rarely present to Otorhinolaryngologists; however they must be considered in the differential diagnosis of any rapidly growing lesion in the head and neck. We report a case of a keratoacanthoma of the nasal vestibule which caused clinical and histopathological difficulties in diagnosis.

Squamous cell carcinoma of the nasal vestibule
Head & Neck, 1999Sixty patients were treated with radiation therapy alone (56 patients) or followed by surgery (4 patients) between 1970 and 1995 for squamous cell carcinoma of the nasal vestibule.Local control rates at five years after irradiation alone in 56 patients were: T1-T2, 94%; T4, 71%; and overall, 85%.

Late Recurrent Retinoblastoma in the Nasal Vestibule
Archives of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, 1971Antral and nasal vestibular recurrence of retinoblastoma is reported in a 10-year-old girl 6½ years after enucleation of the ipsilateral eye (8½ years after enucleation of the contralateral eye). There was no evidence of visceral or osseous metastasis. The treatment was radical maxillectomy. Spread to the antrum was apparently bloodborne.

2009Infection of the skin of the nasal vestibule is termed nasal vestibulitis. It may be secondary to constant rhinorrhea, nose-picking, or viral infections such as herpes simplex and herpes zoster. Foreign bodies frequently cause vestibulitis in children due to purulent discharge. Nasal furunculosis is Staphylococcus aureus infection of the hair follicles.
