This study compares two techniques for creating lead shielding masks to replace the current process for superficial/orthovoltage facial radiotherapy: Plaster Cast Positive Mould (PCPM), CT Scanned 3D Print (CT3DP), and Optical Scan 3D Print (OS3DP). CT3DP was found to be more accurate and preferred over OS3DP.

Nasolabial Flap in Oncologic Oral Cavity Reconstruction: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

The nasolabial flap provides a reliable local reconstructive option for selected small‐ to oncologic oral cavity defects, with low flap‐related complications and minimal donor‐site morbidity. Outcomes should nevertheless be interpreted according to defect characteristics, flap design, and the predominantly retrospective nature of the available evidence.
