Melanotic oncocytic metaplasia of the nasopharynx

Two cases of melanotic oncocytic metaplasia occurring in the nasopharynx are reported. One presented with serous otitis media and the other with tinnitus. Nasoscopic examination revealed a small brown nodule obstructing the Eustachian tube in both cases.
