Excitation‐Selective Hydrochromic Upconversion in Zero‐Dimensional Metal Halides
Excitation wavelength dictates whether moisture speaks. In zero‐dimensional metal halides, the same humidity leaves the upconversion emission unchanged under 980 nm excitation yet triggers a distinct green‐to‐red shift under 1550 nm. This excitation‐selective hydrochromism, governed by the absorption at each wavelength, enables stimulus‐dependent ...

Do Governments Sway European Court of Justice Decision-making?: Evidence from Government Court Briefs [PDF]
The European Court of Justice (ECJ) is commonly described as a powerful international force for legal integration. Indeed, past studies indicate that the ECJ has developed a supranational legal order that trumps national law in a broad range of economic ...

Wafer‐Scale Dendritic Nanoporous Platinum Films for Neural Electrodes
Wafer‐scale dendritic nanoporous platinum films with intrinsic nanoscale porosity are synthesized by suraface‐confined wet chemistry and transferred onto flexible substrates to create tissue‐conformal neural electrodes. The ultrathin films combine mechanical flexibility with electrochemical stability, enabling low‐impedance, high‐capacitance interfaces

Res judicata and consumer protection in the EU: the dialogue between the Courts (and the legislator)
The case law of the European Court of Justice (CJEU), despite confirming in theory the importance of res judicata, has regularly affirmed the need to overcome stability of national judges’ opinions formally qualified as final if that is needed to ensure

This review surveys organic electrochemical transistors as core building blocks for energy‐autonomous bio‐integrated electronics. We outline device physics, OMIEC materials, and electrolyte effects that enable sub‐volt, high‐gain operation, and discuss direct coupling with mechanical, thermal, and optical energy harvesters to realize battery‐free ...

Dual‐defect engineering controls subgap states in zinc oxynitride (ZnON) thin‐film transistors, yielding a field‐effect mobility of 26.58 cm2 V−1 s−1. A process‐associated threshold‐voltage shift is repurposed within a dual‐gate depletion‐mode load to electrostatically balance current in a geometrically symmetric NMOS inverter.
