Programmable Sequential 4D Actuation in Multistable Kirigami Metamaterials

This study presents a modular kirigami metamaterial framework enabling programmable multistability and sequential 4D actuation. By coupling geometry‐controlled multistability with material‐dependent recovery kinetics, spatiotemporal deformation can be precisely programmed.
