Structural studies and functional engineering of NanX: an anhydro‐sialic acid transporter from Escherichia coli

Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.

Acid Site Design for Low Hydration Proton Exchange Membranes

α‐CF2 substitution adjacent to sulfonic acid increases acid strength and enables efficient proton transport under low hydration conditions. Printed SWCNT‐Based p–n Junction Thin‐Film Near‐Infrared Photoresistors Enabled by a Sustainable Furan‐Derived π‐Conjugated Polymer

A sustainable polymer–carbon nanotube bilayer enables efficient near‐infrared photodetection in a simple lateral planar p–n junction thin‐film architecture. Thermal side‐chain cleavage enhances interfacial coupling, shifts the dominant photoresponse from 800 to 1000 nm, and substantially improves device performance.

Auto‐Downregulation of the Florigen FT Production Prevents Precocious Flowering in Plants
