UFL1‐Mediated UFMylation of ENO1 Restrains Aerobic Glycolysis and Colorectal Cancer Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
UFMylation restrains aerobic glycolysis and colorectal cancer progression by modifying the glycolytic enzyme ENO1. Pharmacological enhancement of the UFL1–ENO1 interaction by the FDA‐approved antibiotic torezolid promotes ENO1 UFMylation, suppresses tumor metabolism, and sensitizes colorectal cancer to chemotherapy, revealing an actionable metabolic ...

Redirecting Monocyte Differentiation With Engineered Extracellular Vesicles for Glioma Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dual‐targeting engineered extracellular vesicles (M1‐CS‐EVs) platform is developed to redirect monocytes differentiation into anti‐tumor macrophages for glioma immunotherapy. This nanoplatform combines CAR‐mediated tumor recognition with localized CD47 blockade, leading to synergistic immune activation and potent suppression of tumor progression in ...

Conditionally Significant eQTL and TWAS Analyses Identify MsRD26 as a Major Candidate Positive Regulator of Salt Tolerance in Medicago sativa L

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Salt stress significantly impacts plant growth. Through population transcriptome, eQTL and TWAS analyses, we identified several candidate genes potentially associated with salt stress response. Functional assays suggested that some of these genes may contribute to salt tolerance.

Plaque‐Hepatic Targeting Nanotherapy Disrupts the PCSK9‐LOX‐1 Axis to Suppress oxLDL in Atherosclerosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Self‑amplifying PCSK9–LOX‑1 feedback axis drives atherosclerotic progression by promoting oxLDL generation and endothelial uptake. A dual‑targeting nanoplatform (siPCSK9@PEAL NPs‑aL) is constructed to simultaneously silence hepatic PCSK9 for lipid lowering and block plaque LOX‑1 for anti‑inflammation.

Engineering Antibodies into Targeted Chimeras: From Recognition Modules to Programmable Degraders

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Antibody can be engineered into diverse lysosome‐targeting chimeras that convert target recognition into active degradation. By coupling antibody binding with recruited receptors, encoded domains, conjugated ligands, or nanoparticle scaffolds, these antibody‐associated targeted chimeras (AbTACs) platforms direct extracellular and membrane proteins ...

Beyond PEG: Emerging Polymer Lipid Alternatives for Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) Formulations

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review discusses recent advances in PEG‐alternative LNP designs, including non‐PEG polymers, zwitterionic lipids, and polypeptides. It evaluates how surface‐engineering chemistry influences LNP formation and biological behavior, and highlights current limitations and opportunities of PEG‐alternative LNPs.
