Autonomous Reconfigurable Modular Conductive Hydrogels for Adaptive and Degradable Bioelectronic Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Bridging rigid electrodes with soft, irregular tissues demands more than conductivity alone. Modular conductive hydrogels autonomously reconfigure into conformal electrode‐tissue interfaces, coupling mixed ionic‐electronic conduction with tissue‐like mechanics, self‐healing, and degradability.

Post‐Deposition Photonic Curing Treatment for Improved Sb2Se3 Photovoltaic Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Millisecond‐scale photonic curing overcomes the open‐circuit voltage deficit in Sb2Se3 solar cells by transforming the rear interface. This ultrafast treatment enhances crystallographic texture and smooths the absorber surface, suppressing interfacial recombination and boosting power conversion efficiency to 8.2%.

An Anti‐Amyloidogenic Approach to Specifically Block Memory Consolidation in Mice for Therapeutic Intervention

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Functional amyloid conversion of the translation regulator CPEB3 is essential for long‐term memory persistence. This study demonstrates that targeting this molecular switch with the anti‐amyloidogenic peptide QBP1 selectively blocks CPEB3 fibrillation without disrupting phase separation.

Transcription Factor Promiscuity Drives Regulatory Rewiring and Evolvability in Gene Networks in Bacteria

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
When a master transcription factor (TF) is lost, bacteria can rapidly rewire gene regulatory networks by co‐opting related regulators. Using experimental evolution in Pseudomonas fluorescens, we show that TF promiscuity (low‐level, non‐cognate binding) provides the raw material for rewiring. Successful co‐option follows a predictable hierarchy governed
