Quantitative myocardial mapping using 3.0 T cardiac magnetic resonance imaging in dogs: adenosine stress–rest evaluation

open access: yesFrontiers in Veterinary Science
High-field cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) enables noninvasive assessment of myocardial tissue characteristics in anesthetized dogs; however, adenosine stress myocardial mapping at 3.0 T remains insufficiently characterized. This study evaluated

Multiparametric cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging in acute myocarditis: a comparison of different measurement approaches

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, 2019
Background Myocardial T1 and T2 mapping are reliable diagnostic markers for the detection and follow up of acute myocarditis. The aim of this study was to compare the diagnostic performance of current mapping measurement approaches to differentiate ...

Neuromorphic Optical Tracking and Imaging of Randomly Moving Targets Through Dynamic Dense Scattering Media

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Vision begins not with images but with change: the retina fires only when something moves, handing the brain a stream of spikes. A neuromorphic imaging system adopts the same strategy—an event sensor that sees like the retina, a spiking network that thinks like the brain—to track and reconstruct fully randomly moving targets through tissue (phantom ...

RNA Promotes Synapsin Condensates That Organize Synaptic Vesicles in Live Neurons and Enable Localized Translation in Reconstituted System

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Condensates at synapses organize synaptic vesicles (SVs) and are crucial for efficient neurotransmitter release, yet how RNA contributes to this mesoscale architecture remains poorly understood. Here we uncover that RNA modulates synapsin–driven condensates.

Can Native T1 Mapping Differentiate between Healthy and Diffuse Diseased Myocardium in Clinical Routine Cardiac MR Imaging?

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2016
ObjectivesT1 mapping allows quantitative myocardial assessment, but its value in clinical routine remains unclear. We investigated, whether the average native myocardial T1 value can be used as a diagnostic classifier between healthy and diffuse diseased

Analog Synaptic Plasticity in 2D Layered Material Iontronic Memtransistors for Brain‐Inspired Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this work, we demonstrated a robust 2D MoS2 based iontronic memtransistor of planar architecture operated under the influence of an electrical double layer with versatile performance and applications, including pinched hysteresis nature of transfer curve, analogue channel conductance tuning, low‐voltage operation, logic‐gate operation, classical ...

Longitudinal Assessment of Cardiac Native T1 in Transfusion-Dependent Thalassemia

open access: yesReviews in Cardiovascular Medicine
Background:Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) T2* is the reference standard for assessing myocardial iron overload (MIO). Native T1 mapping has emerged as a complementary technique and may be more sensitive for detecting mild or early myocardial ...

SynNotch Receptors for Visualizing Immunoreceptor Force Transmission and Downstream Signaling In Vivo

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A mechanically activated SynNotch reporter platform enables detection of force transmission through receptors as they mediate immune cell interactions. Targeting CD40 on B cells and TCR on T cells records force‐induced reporter activation across 2D coculture, 3D organoid, and implanted in mice, which also reveal force‐amplification of immune receptor ...

An Effector TaCRVP From Tuta Absoluta Oral Secretion Impairs H2O2‐Mediated Plant Defense by Targeting Tomato SlCAT2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Tuta absoluta salivary effector TaCRVP subverts tomato immunity by hijacking host catalase SlCAT2. Through a sophisticated dual mechanism, TaCRVP simultaneously promotes SlCAT2 tetramerization for activation and blocks its SlAdBiL‐mediated degradation for stabilization.
