Ethnic Conflicts, Civil War, and Economic Growth: Region‐Level Evidence From Former Yugoslavia
Journal of Regional Science, EarlyView.ABSTRACT This paper studies the long‐term effects of the Yugoslav civil war (1987–1995) on subnational economic growth across 78 regions in five former Yugoslav republics from 1950 to 2015. Nations and Nationalism, EarlyView.ABSTRACT This study explores how esports audiences discursively construct Finnish nationality when spectating games of Counter‐Strike: Global Offensive during a major international tournament. The largest esports tournament broadcasts can attract tens or hundreds of thousands of viewers, who participate in the public debate surrounding the matches.
