This research has – like the majority of work in the philosophy of nature and the history of science more generally – focused on Schelling's understanding of life, but eschews any discussion of death.

We conducted the first radio‐tracking study on Osmoderma barnabita to examine the movement ecology and habitat selection in the Eastern Carpathians. A female recorded the longest movement distance and had larger home ranges than males. It showed a preference for Quercus petraea, with wood mould cavities and DBH as key predictors.

Forest clearings support butterfly communities comparable to mountainous grasslands in alpha‐diversity and conservation value, yet remain compositionally distinct. Generalized linear models (GLMs) showed three key habitat predictors shaping multifaceted diversity and community composition: herb/grass height, flowerhead abundance and elevation.
