Adaptive Conductive Systems: Enabling Deformable Electronics Through Engineered Materials, Circuits, and Intelligent Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review presents the research advances of adaptive conductive systems from the perspective of materials, circuits, systems, and applications. Deformable conductors consist of substrates/matrices and conductive materials, structural design of circuit interconnections, fabrication of circuit interconnections, as well as intelligent systems ...

Tri‐Functional Electrocatalysis for Zinc–Air Battery Coupled Water Splitting: A Catalyst‐Electrode‐Device‐System Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review establishes a catalyst–electrode–device–system framework for tri‐functional HER/OER/ORR electrocatalysis that couples water splitting with Zn–air batteries. Five catalyst families are covered: noble‐metal, metal‐based, single‐atom, heterostructure, and metal‐free systems.

Gut Microbiota‐Derived Indole‐3‐Propionic Acid Alleviates Diabetic Osteoporosis Through Nrf2‐Mediated Ferroptosis Suppression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Diabetes‐associated dysbiosis is accompanied by reduced Clostridium abundance, impaired microbial tryptophan metabolism, and lower circulating indole‐3‐propionic acid (IPA). Exogenous IPA improves trabecular microarchitecture and bone formation and restores Nrf2‐associated antioxidant signaling in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, limiting iron ...

Natural Capital Assessment and Recommendations for Sustainable Tourism in Ski and Mountain Resorts of the Catalan Pyrenees

open access: yesMountain Research and Development
Mountain natural capital supports local and lowland populations while maintaining global social–ecological balance. However, mountains face increasing ecological, economic, and social pressures, leading to natural capital depletion.

Proteogenomic Profiling of Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Identifies Sex‐Differential Proteins and Candidate Therapeutic Targets

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An integrated proteogenomic analysis of 44,137 predominantly European‐ancestry UK Biobank participants aged 40–69 years identifies 12 robust proteins associated with idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension. These proteins define a high‐mortality molecular endotype, support early detection and mortality prediction, reveal sex‐differential proteomic ...

High‐Current‐Density Acidic CO2 Electroreduction to Formic Acid Enabled by Multiscale Microenvironment Regulation Over Defect‐Rich Sn/SnOx

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Acidic CO2 electroreduction to formic acid is enabled by integrating mixed Sn/SnOx nanoclusters, K+‐regulated interfacial solvation, and Janus wettability. Coordinated control of active sites, interfacial water, and gas‐liquid transport suppresses hydrogen evolution and delivers approximately 85% HCOOH Faradaic efficiency at 400 mA cm−2.
