A data-driven state identification method for intelligent control of the joint station export system

open access: yesScientific Reports
As a necessary part of intelligent control of a joint station, the automatic identification of abnormal conditions and automatic adjustment of operation schemes need to judge the running state of the system. In this paper, a combination of Particle Swarm

Al–Cu Composite Casting of Laser‐Deoxidized Copper: Bonding, Interfacial Chemistry, and Thermal Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates laser‐based oxide removal of Cu inserts in oxygen‐free conditions and examines long‐term oxidation kinetics and surface chemistry under different atmospheres via X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Al–Cu compound casting with differently oxidized surfaces is performed, and intermetallic phase formation, morphology, and thermal ...

Study on the adsorption and deformation laws of multi-components in shale oil with nanopores——insights from the molecular simulation

open access: yesJournal of Petroleum Exploration and Production Technology
The development of shale oil reservoirs is significant for the petroleum industry. Fluids in shale oil play exist in nanoscale pores, and the interaction between fluids and shale rock surface walls can lead to the expansion and deformation of the entire ...

Numerical simulation of hydrogen adsorption and dissociation mechanisms on the surface of high-grade steel

open access: yesYou-qi chuyun
ObjectiveThe dissociation of hydrogen into hydrogen atoms is identified as the primary factor contributing to damage resulting from hydrogen permeation and embrittlement in hydrogen-enriched compressed natural gas (HCNG) transmission pipelines.

Raman Spectroscopic Identification of Oxide Phases in a Corroded MgO–Steel Composite Anode Used in Aluminum Molten Salt Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Micro‐Raman spectroscopy is applied to characterize corrosion products in a recycled‐based MgO–316L steel composite anode after molten salt electrolysis. A depth‐dependent Fe–O/Fe–Al–O layer sequence of magnetite, hercynite, and an Al‐doped magnetite transition zone is identified.

Pyramidal Structures on Yttria‐Stabilized Zirconia after High Temperature Exposure at 1500°C: New Features on an Old Material

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
New features on yttria‐stabilized zirconia after exposure at 1500°C: Newly discovered pyramidal structures on an old material. After exposure at 1550°C on the cross section of YSZ new features, namely pyramidal structures are discovered. These structures grow with time, increase in numbers, appear as singularities, are often arranged in strings, and ...

Interaction of Ladle Slag With Varying SiO2 Content and Recyclate‐Based MgO–C Refractories

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Ladle slags (CaO/Al2O3 = 1) with 1–20 wt% SiO2 were investigated in contact with industrial MgO–C refractories fabricated from fresh magnesia and 50 wt% recyclate. The sessile drop method at 1600°C reveals intensive gas formation, delayed slag infiltration in recyclate‐based samples, and, under high‐SiO2 slag, formation of a dense MgAl2O4‐rich ...
