Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...

Strategic-Agent Equilibria in the Operation of Natural Gas and Power Markets
We consider strategic gas/power producers and strategic gas/power consumers operating in both gas and power markets. We build a flexible multi-period complementarity model to characterize day-ahead equilibria in those markets.

A hierarchically structured metal–organic framework (eMIL) is shown to host the complete six‐enzyme biosynthesis pathway for the anti‐cancer pigment violacein, reshaping reaction dynamics and multiplying in vitro yields. eMIL nanoreactors deliver this reconstituted bacterial multi‐protein system into mammalian cells, where cell‐derived substrates and ...

Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.

Market Liberalization in the European Natural Gas Market - The Importance of Capacity Constraints and Efficiency Differences [PDF]
In the European Union, energy markets are increasingly being liberalized. A case in point is the European natural gas industry. The general expectation is that more competition will lead to lower prices and higher volumes, and hence higher welfare.

The liberalisation of the European gas market and its consequences for Russia [PDF]
Russia is the world's biggest natural gas producer, with output of 581 bn m3 in 2001, and is also a key supplier of the European gas market (around 30% of current EU gas imports).
