Seismic Vulnerability of a Natural Gas Pipeline Network
Pipelines 2008, 2008In this paper, a landslide prone area in Istanbul has been studied to show the seismic vulnerability of a proposed natural gas pipeline network. The area is located 9 km away to the north of the North Anatolian Fault Zone (NAFZ). NAFZ is seismically very active and a major earthquake is expected within the next 30 years.

A Hybrid Meta-heuristic Approach for Natural Gas Pipeline Network Optimization
2005In this paper we propose a hybrid heuristic solution procedure for fuel cost minimization on gas transmission systems with a cyclic network topology, that is, networks with at least one cycle containing two or more compressor station arcs.
