Pseudo‐natural Light for Displays and Lighting
Advanced Optical Materials, 2014Light quality shows strong effects on humans in many aspects, including aesthetics, psychology, physiology, and health. By assuming that natural light has the best light quality, devising a pseudo‐natural light is hence important and critical. Here, an all‐weather pseudo‐natural light is demonstrated based on a high number of broad‐band emitters.

LED Museum Lighting: Back to Natural Light
Light & Engineering, 2019Article overviews prospects of application of adjustable polychrome LED luminaires based on RGB mixture principle for museum lighting. Such light sources allow creating of high-quality lighting systems with capability to adjust luminous flux and chromaticity characteristics with a wide range of correlated colour temperatures between 2800 K and 6500 K ...

AbstractSimulating natural light is an interesting subject in computer graphics. Using the principles of meteorology, we build a sphere cap light source model. Unlike existing illumination or light source models, we consider the effects of both the ratio of direct light to diffuse light and the position of the sun under different weather conditions. We

Lighting device to simulate natural light
2021The present invention relates in general terms to a lighting device to simulate natural lighting, thus capable of generating at least two light components with different angular distributions having different correlated colour temperature or CCT. In particular, the present invention is directed to a lighting device (10,10') to simulate natural lighting
