Enhanced Strength and Corrosion Resistance of Ti‐13Nb‐12Ta‐10Zr‐4Sn Alloy by Aging Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work systematically investigates the effect of aging treatment on mechanical properties and corrosion behavior of vacuum arc‐melted Ti‐13Nb‐12Ta‐10Zr‐4Sn alloy. Owing to the increased α″ martensite, strength and corrosion resistance were significantly enhanced by aging treatment.

Dynamic stiffness matrix of partial-interaction composite beams

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2015
Composite beams have a wide application in building and bridge engineering because of their advantages of mechanical properties, constructability and economic performance. Unlike static characteristics, the methods of studying the dynamic characteristics

Homomorphic image orders on combinatorial structures

open access: yes, 2015
Combinatorial structures have been considered under various orders, including substructure order and homomorphism order. In this paper, we investigate the homomorphic image order, corresponding to the existence of a surjective homomorphism between two ...

Direct Metal Deposition of Graphene–Ti28Nb35.4Zr Matrix Composites With Enhanced Mechanical, Corrosion, and Biocompatibility Properties for Bone Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Graphene nanoplatelet (0.1 wt.%) reinforcement significantly enhances the performance of β Ti‐28Nb‐35.4Zr alloy. Grain refinement, reduced water contact angle, and improved surface characteristics promote osteoblast adhesion and complete surface coverage after 7 days.

Vibration Analysis of a Magnetoelectroelastic Rectangular Plate Based on a Higher-Order Shear Deformation Theory

open access: yesLatin American Journal of Solids and Structures
Free vibration of a magnetoelectroelastic rectangular plate is investigated based on the Reddy's third-order shear deformation theory. The plate rests on an elastic foundation and it is considered to have different boundary conditions.

Offline Specialisation in Prolog Using a Hand-Written Compiler Generator

open access: yes, 2004
The so called "cogen approach" to program specialisation, writing a compiler generator instead of a specialiser, has been used with considerable success in partial evaluation of both functional and imperative languages.

SOLUTIONS OF FRACTIONAL ORDER NONLINEAR PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS BY NATURAL DECOMPOSITION METHOD

open access: yes, 2022
ADVISOR:BOKA KUMSA ( ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR) ABSTRACT . Most of nonlinear partial differential equations have many applications in physical world. However; to find the solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations are not easily solvable and hence different modified techniques were applied to get solutions of such equations.

Molecular Dynamics Studies of Shape Memory Polymers: From Bead–Spring Models to Atomistic Simulations

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Factor intensity and order of resource extraction

open access: yes
This paper characterizes the optimal time paths of extraction of several nonrenewable resource deposits with different costs of extraction when the extracted resource can be converted into productive capital and the extraction process, as well as the ...
